All live data and player evaluations come from our professional data provider Stats Perform (formerly Opta), with whom we work closely and continuously.

Thanks to constant communication with both our data partners and you – our community – we strive to keep the scoring as fair, transparent, and objective as possible.

Note: Editorial/journalistic ratings may differ from the data-based scoring you see in Kickbase.

Please be patient until the final scoring is confirmed.
Before that, all controversial scenes go through detailed reviews and may be adjusted during correction loops.

🧠 How Player Positions Affect Scoring

Each player is evaluated based on the tactical role they actually perform on the pitch, not necessarily their listed position in Kickbase.

This means:

  • A player may receive points for position-specific actions even if their formal position in the app is different.

  • This ensures more accurate, role-based evaluations.

🤝 A Note on Subjectivity

We kindly ask for your understanding:
Analysts sometimes have split seconds to make judgment calls – and yes, a few evaluations may include a level of subjectivity.
