In Kickbase, the Seasonal Manager offers you two modes alongside the Arena mode (without transfer market): Classic Mode and Money Mode. Both provide different ways to start your manager journey, but the game mechanics and point system remain the same.

Classic Mode
You receive 15 randomly assigned players with a total value of 100 million.
In addition, you get a starting budget of 50 million.
Advantage: Your team is fully set up in all positions from the beginning. You can dive right into the action and make targeted improvements.

Money Mode
You don’t receive any players but start with a budget of 200 million.
You must build your entire team before the first matchday.
Advantage: Full freedom in team planning – but also more responsibility.

In both modes, you can set a player limit and a squad restriction.
The point system is identical: your team earns points on each matchday.
Goal: At the end of the season, the manager with the most points wins.

This way, you can decide whether you want to start with a predefined foundation (Classic) or build your team completely from scratch (Money).
